Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on the N3 about ten kilometres outside Kroonstad in the Free State this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a motor vehicle with nine occupants overturned. Two people sadly lost their lives; two were seriously injured and three people sustained moderate injuries.
After the injured were treated on scene, they were transported to nearby medical facilities for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
