Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to a collision outside 123 Umhlanga Rocks Drive at 12:30 this afternoon.
First on arrival, paramedics found two vehicles that had collided in a rear end manner. The occupants of the vehicles were assessed and one 55 year old male had suffered suspected spinal and neck injuries. The injured man was fully immobilised to prevent further injury before being loaded in a waiting Crisis Medical ambulance and was transported to Ethekwini Hospital for further medical treatment.
At this stage it is unknown what caused the collision and will be investigated by SAPS
