A man has died after he was struck by a train at Umhlali railway station this morning at around 07h00. Details leading up to the accident are still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the tracks; tragically he had died before our arrival.
