Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident at the intersection of Paul Kruger Avenue and Fifth Avenue in Roodepoort North this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that three motor vehicles had collided resulting in one man sustaining serious injuries.
After the injured man was treated on scene he was transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
Exact details to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
