A man is in a serious condition after a shooting incident in North End, Port Elizabeth this morning at around 09h00. Exact detail to the incident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the wreckages of two vehicles obstructing the roadway and a man lying on the ground in a serious condition. After triaging the patients it was found that the vehicle drivers escaped uninjured while the male lying on the ground sustained a penetrating wound.
After he was stabelised on scene paramedics transported the patient to a local government hospital for the care that he required.
