Eighteen people were injured after a taxi and a car collided along the R102 near Rana Road in Isipingo this evening. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the emergency services arrived at the scene and found two of the passengers of the car still trapped in the wreckage, the patients from the Taxi were found at the side of the road.
After medics stabelised the injured on scene they transported them to various hospitals for the care that they required.
