Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a near drowning incident in Bredell this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a one-year-old child sustained critical injuries after a near drowning incident. The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the child to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical care required.
