A man and his thirteen – year-old son sustained serious injuries after a car collapsed onto them in the Sherwood area in Durban this afternoon. Reports indicate that the two people were working on the motor vehicle when the jacks collapsed.
Netcare 911 paramedics and the provincial services arrived at the scene and found the injured trapped under the vehicle. After the Netcare 911 rescue unit managed to free them , the paramedics stabilized the injured on scene and then transported them to Addington hospital for the care that they required.
