Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to a collision between a motorbike and truck at the intersection of North Coast Road and Queen Nandi Drive at 15:45 this afternoon.
On arrival, paramedics found a motorbike wedge under a truck. Fearing for the worst, paramedics were astounded to find the rider next to the truck with only minor injuries. He was treated on scene for abrasions before being transported to a nearby hospital for further medical care.
The exact cause of the collision is unknown at this time and will be the subject of a police investigation.
Traffic was adversely affected due to the collision.
