Netcare 911 paramedics responded to a pedestrian accident on Main Reef Road in Manufacta, Roodepoort this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a thirty-year-old man sustained critical injuries after he was knocked over by two vehicles.
The critically injured man was rushed to a nearby hospital for the urgent medical care that he required.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
