Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N14 near Muldersdrift, Krugersdorp this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two motor vehicles collided head-on resulting in four people sustaining injuries. Three people sustained serious injuries and the fourth person sustained moderate injuries.
After the injured were treated on scene they were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
