One man died while two others were injured, one critically so, in a shooting along Albert Street ,Westmead Pinetown this afternoon at around 15h00. Exact detail to the cause of the shooting and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that a husband and wife had sustained gunshot wounds, the man was critically injured while his wife sustained serious injuries. A man lying nearby had died before our arrival due to the extensive injuries he sustained.
The injured were stabilized on scene before paramedics transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
