A man is fighting for his life after a motorbike and a car collided along the R34 near the Mondi off ramp this afternoon at around 16h35. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker lying on the roadway with life threatening injuries. After they stabelised the patient on scene they transported him to an area hospital for the care that he required.
