Eleven people were injured after a Hi Ace traveling on the N2 South near Zinkwazi on the Natal north coast overturned several times. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the roadway to be littered with accident debris and the crumpled remains of the vehicle. After the injured were triaged medics found that four people sustained serious injuries while seven escaped with minor injuries.
After the injured were stabilised on scene paramedics transported them to a Netcare hospital for the care that they required.
