Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N1 after the Vanderbiljpark offramp this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus had overturned resulting in approximately ten people sustaining injuries ranging from moderate to serious.
All the injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to nearby hospitals for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
