A man believed to be in his thirties sustained critical injuries after being struck by a light motor vehicle on the M4 North bound near Victoria Embankment earlier today.
ER24 Durban paramedics arrived on scene to find the man lying in the roadway having sustained serious head injuries. Advanced life support care was initiated and the man was transported by ambulance to a near by state hospital for further care.
Traffic was severly affected and the necessary authorities were on scene to assist.
