Crisis Medical Paramedics responded to reports of a serious collision on the N2 North bound freeway before Queen Nandi Drive at around 11:45 this morning.
On arrival, paramedics quickly assessed the occupants of the two vehicles and found that 4 people had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate. The injured were treated on scene before 3 patients were transported to a state hospital and Ethekwini Hospital by Crisis Medical ambulance for further care. The fourth person was transported by another service provider.
At this stage it is believe that a vehicle was travelling in a southerly direction on the N2 before it lost control, rolled over the centre median and then collided with another vehicle coming from a northerly direction. Traffic was severely disrupted while emergency personnel worked to clear the scene.
