Soweto, Johannesburg – 12 November
A pedestrian was killed this morning after being struck by a train, near Klipspruit in Soweto, South of Johannesburg.
Initially Paramedics and other rescue services were dispatched to the scene with information that a train had collided with a vehicle, with the possibility of numerous patients.
This proved to be falls as only one person, a pedestrian, was found on the scene.
The man, believed to be in his 30’s, sustained severe trauma and died on the scene as a result.
