Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on N14 Ben Schoeman Highway south bound passed Eeufees Road in Pretoria this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a minibus and light delivery vehicle had overturned. A man tragically lost his life, two people sustained serious injuries and four people sustained moderate injuries. Two people were entrapped in the minibus and services had to make use of the Jaws of Life to extricate them from the vehicle.
The injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
