A 19 year old man sadly passed away when a farming trailer ran over him this morning.
It is understood that the man was standing on the trailer that had been towed by a tractor at that moment and that he fell off the trailer when it ran over him. Bystanders quickly phoned for help before ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene.
Advanced care had to be initiated in an attempt to save his live. The AER24 ER1 helicopter was called to the scene to airlift the man to an emergency center for treatment.
However, his condition deteriorated and resuscitation efforts proved unsuccessful. He was declared deceased shortly thereafter.
