Just after 7am this morning Rescue Care paramedics were called to a serious collision on Maydon Road near Wisely Road.
On arrival paramedics found that two vehicles had collided on the sharp bend. Paramedics immediately assessed the scene and found that one of the drivers had sustained moderate injuries. He was stabilized on scene by paramedics before he was placed on a special spinal board to prevent any further injury. Once stabilized the injured driver was transported by Rescue Care ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care that he required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however it is suspected that one vehicle turned in front of the other. SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
