Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the M4 on-ramp from Riverside Road in Durban North, KZN this morning at about 06h20.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two vehicles were involved in a side-impact accident resulting in one man sustaining critical injures, who required Advance Life Support intervention.
The man was rushed to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
