Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the N12 near the R21 off-ramp in Bartlett, Gauteng this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found a man in a critical condition after a motorcycle rear-ended a motor vehicle.
The critically injured man was treated on scene before he was rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care he required.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
