Two people sustained serious injuries after the vehicle they were in collided into the back of a truck on West Road Overport on Thursday 12 December just after 4pm.
Paramedics arrived to find that a vehicle had collided with the rear of a truck. On assessment paramedics found that the two occupants that were in the vehicle had sustained serious injuries. Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize the two before they were transported by Rescue Care to St Augustine’s for further care that they required.
It is unclear what caused the collision however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
Traffic was severely affected as West Road was closed whilst emergency personal worked to clear the scene.
