Several patients were suffered moderate minor to moderate injuries when the two vehicles they were traveling in collided head-on on the N4 in Mpumalanga yesterday afternoon.

It is alleged that while a Corsa Bakkie was traveling along the N4 towards Pretoria, it rode over the centre medium when it’s driver lost control. This caused it to collide with a Polo hatchback traveling in the opposite direction.

All 6 patients on scene were treated for minor to moderate injuries such as dislocated shoulders. The youngest patient in the collision was a 5-year-old girl and she fortunately only sustained minor soft tissue injuries.

All but one of the patients were transported to various hospitals for further care while the relevant authorities stayed on scene to investigate the incident further.
