A man has tragically died after he was struck by a vehicle on the N2 near Illovo Beach this evening at around 21h00. Exact detail to the cause of the accident is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation and comment.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the road unresponsive; after he was examined they found that he had tragically died before their arrival due to the severe injuries that he sustained.
