A man sustained serious injuries after a Jet-Ski accident in Richards Bay this afternoon. Reports from the scene indicate that the Jet- Ski slammed into a buoy before he was catapulted into the water.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found that bystanders had rescued the man and brought him to the water’s edge. After paramedics stabilised the man and deftly immobilized him on a trauma board, they transported him to a nearby hospital for the care that they required.
