A two-year-old-boy has tragically died after a drowning incident in Mandeni on the Natal North coast this afternoon at around 17h30. Exact detail as to how the child ended up in the pool is still speculative, however the parents found the child floating in the pool and raced to a local clinic.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the clinic and immediately started with advanced life support resuscitation. Tragically despite all the efforts the patient was declared dead at the clinic.
