Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident at the intersection of Old Johannesburg Road and Lyttleton Road in Lyttleton this evening.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that three people were injured after two vehicles collided. A woman was found to be in a serious condition, while a man and woman sustained minor to moderate injuries.
The injured people were treated on scene before they were transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
