The National Department of Labour in partnership with the National Department of Public Works and the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) cordially invite you to the official promulgation of the Construction Regulations 2014 by the Honourable Minister of Labour, which is a significant milestone in the construction industry.
The launch will be addressed by the Minister of Labour, Ms N.M. Oliphant and the Minister of Public Works Mr TW Nxesi and will coincide with the launch of the signing of the Construction Health and Safety (CHS) Accord by Built Environment Professional Councils. It will also advance the ‘Zero Harm’ initiative in workplaces in promoting a meaningful social dialogue in occupational health and safety matters.
The Promulgation of the Construction Regulation comes at the time when the construction industry is under the spotlight due to fatalities, injuries and diseases associated with the Construction sector.
