Netcare 911 paramedics responded to an accident on Eland Street in Fauna, Bloemfontein this afternoon.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that a man was in a serious condition after his motor vehicle had overturned.
The man was treated on scene before he was transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
