Three people were injured this morning when their vehicle was t-boned on Rifle Range road in Glenanda, Johannesburg. ER24 paramedics arrived on scene to find the family of three sitting on the side of the road in “shock”.
Paramedics immediately observed the patients (two adults and one child) who sustained moderate injuries.
All three patients were immobilised on spine boards before transportation to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Witnesses told paramedics that the child was ejected in the collision, which occurred when another vehicle apparently swerved into the oncoming lane and t-boned it, causing it to overturn.
The cause of the collision is not known and investigations are underway.
