Seven French tourists were injured in a side impact accident along the M41 at the Ridgeside intersection at around 17h06. Reports indicate that a vehicle collided with the tourist’s vehicle causing it to overturn, the other vehicle then left the scene before our arrival.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found an adult and six children aged between eleven and fourteen at the side of the road with injuries ranging from serious to minor. After they were stabilised at the scene paramedics transported them to a local hospital for the care that they required.
