A biker was critically injured after he collided with a vehicle along Davallen Avenue, La Lucia on the Natal North coast this afternoon at around 15h46. Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events is still speculative and will remain a subject for police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the biker a man aged around thirty eight years old lying on the road with life threatening injuries. Paramedics worked fervently to stabilise the patient and after he was placed on a ventilator and deftly immobilised on a trauma board, they transported him to a nearby hospital for the care that he required.
