A 61-year-old man sustained moderate injuries after a 5-meter fall off his ladder in Putfontein near Benoni this morning.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and found the elderly man lying in a bakkie canopy, unable to walk. Paramedics discovered that the patient sustained moderate leg and back injuries.
Once the patient’s injuries were treated, he was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
The man later told paramedics that he slipped off his ladder which was leaning against the building’s roof.
