Eight children were injured this morning when a taxi overturned in Kwadabeka in Pinetown, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics arrived on scene and discovered the taxi resting on its side and its young occupants seated on the side of the road.
The children were found to have sustained only minor injuries. Once their injuries were treated, paramedics transported the patients to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
The driver of the vehicle later said that the vehicle apparently experienced mechanical fault, causing it to roll.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the exact cause of the collision.
