One woman has been killed after her house caught alight in Vanderbyl Park, Guateng earlier this evening.
ER24 paramedics responded to the residential area to find the house well ablaze. Provincial fire services were already on scene fighting the fire.
Once the blaze was extinguished, ER24 paramedics found that one woman in the house had sustained fatal injuries.
Witnesses on scene stated that the woman had apparently run back into her burning, but did not return.
Local authorities were on scene to investigate the cause of the incident.
