Sixteen people were injured , three critically so, after a bakkie and a taxi collided head-on along the N2 north near Zinkwazi Beach on the natal north coast this afternoon at around 16h07
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the highway severely obstructed with the twisted remains of the vehicles. After triaging they found that three people sustained critical injuries, six people were seriously injuries, and miraculously seven people escaped with minor injuries.
After paramedics stabilised the injured on scene they transported them to various hospitals, the critically injured were transported to the Nkosi Albert Luthuli hospital under the constant care of the advanced life support paramedics of Netcare 911
