Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to an accident on the P200 on the KZN South Coast this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found that two motor vehicles had collided resulting in one person sustaining injuries. One of the vehicles left the roadway and came to a standstill down an embankment.
The patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
