A taxi driver sustained serious injury after his taxi veered off the road, overturned and slammed into a tree. Reports from the scene are that the driver was rounding a bend along Dan Pienaar drive when his vehicle left the roadway.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived at the scene and found the man lying on the ground with serious injuries. After he was stabilised at the scene they transported the man to Prince Mshiyeni hospital for the care that he required.
