Netcare 911 paramedics and other services responded to a fire incident in Villa Lize in Boksburg this morning.
Upon their arrival on scene they found a twenty-seven-year-old woman in a critical condition after a fire broke out in their home.
The Netcare1 helicopter was activated to airlift the critically injured woman to hospital for the urgent medical care that she required.
Exact detail to the cause of the incident and preceding events will remain the subject of an investigation.
