A female was seriously injured after she fell down a 60 meter embankment in Sugar Road Port Shepstone this morning. Exact detail as to how she ended up falling down the embankment is still speculation .
Netcare 911, provincial paramedics and the Police search and rescue arrived at the scene and had to clamber down the embankment with their equipment to stabilise the injured female. After immobilising her in a specialised stretcher they hoisted her back up to the road where the ambulance was waiting to transport her to hospital under the constant care of an advanced life support paramedic.
