A worker is in a critical condition after he sustained 40 % burns while working at an industrial site in Mandeni this afternoon. A report from the scene indicate that the man was making a fire using petrol when the accident occurred.
Netcare 911 and another service arrived at the scene and found the man to be in a critical condition. After he was stabilised at the scene they transported the patient to a hospital in Umhlanga for the care that he required.
