A fifty-year-old man is in a critical condition after he was knocked over by a Toyota light delivery vehicle on General Hertzog Street in Vereeniging this morning.
Paramedics arrived on scene and found the critically injured man laying on the roadway following the accident.
The man was treated on scene, immobilised on a trauma board and transported to hospital under the care of an Advanced Life Support Paramedic.
Details surrounding the accident is still unknown and will remain the subject of police investigation.
