A man was seriously injured after he was knocked over by a motor vehicle on Sefako Makgatho Drive in Montana this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the injured man laying on the roadway following the accident.
The injured man was treated on scene, immobilised on a trauma board and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Traffic flow towards the N1 was affected following this accident.
Exact details and preceding events surrounding the accident will remain the subject of a police investigation.
