Four people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious after three vehicles collided on the N4 before the Doornpoort Toll Plaze in Doornpoort, Pretoria this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics and other services arrived on scene and found the road severely obstructed due to the accident.
One person was found to be in a serious condition and three people sustained moderate injuries.
After receiving treatment on scene, the injured patients were transported to various hospitals for further medical care.
Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
