Netcare 911 paramedics, its rescue unit and other rescue services are currently in Ilembe, Ndwedwe where a rescue operation is underway after a man, believed to be in his sixties, fell of a cliff.
Rescue workers are making use of high angle rescue equipment to rescue the man.
A helicopter is currently on standby to airlift the man from the scene once the rescue operation is complete.
An update will follow with more information once the man has been hoisted to the top of the cliff.
