A fifteen-year-old boy was serious injured after he was knocked over by a motor vehicle on Dr Belcher Street in Bloemfontein this morning.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and found the boy laying in the roadway following the pedestrian accident.
The injured boy was treated on scene, immobilised on a trauma board and transported to hospital for further medical care.
Exact detail surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
