Seven people were injured this morning after a truck and taxi collided on the N3 highway near Hillcrest, KwaZulu Natal.
When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene, they found a taxi stationed on the side of the road. The right side of the taxi had been completely ripped open.
On assessment, paramedics found that seven occupants of the taxi had sustained minor injuries.
The patients were treated for their injuries and thereafter transported to St Mary’s Hospital for further treatment.
The driver of the truck fortunately did not sustain any injuries.
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
