A nine-year-old girl was seriously injured following a pedestrian accident on Harrison Street in Benoni Monday afternoon.
Exact detail surrounding the accident and preceding events are unknown and will remain the subject of a police investigation.
Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on scene and found the young girl lying on the ground after she was knocked over by a motor vehicle.
The seriously young girl was treated on scene and transported to hospital for further medical care.
